    We offer public and custom programs for children, adults, and families on our beautiful, organic farm to help build the local food system. Whether its a day camp or a cheesemaking workshop, participants gain hands-on experience preparing farm-fresh food, from field to table, while learning about organic agriculture and the whole farm system in the process. The Learning Center also offers farmer training and support to beginning farmers and facilitates Youth-led urban agriculture projects in Chicago and Rockford.

    An established, certified organic farm that sells produce directly to Chicago chefs and farmers market customers.But the farm also is a popular attraction for one another reason – “glamping” – otherwise known as upscale camping. In a partnership with a cooperative of farm-stay locations called Feather Down Farms, Kinnikinnick offers five 480 square-foot feather down luxury tents for people to rent out.Tents sleep up to five adults and one child. Candles and firewood also are supplied. Guests will have access to the communal chicken coop, where they can collect eggs; the animal paddock, where children can get up close to farm animals; communal showers; and The Farm Larder/Honesty Shop.
